As part of a report at Kromberg & Schubert in Oberpullendorf, we had the opportunity to see how the new control unit fundamentally improves the daily work of employees. The ultra-modern ENGEL victory 350 injection molding machine, equipped with the CC300 plus, impressively demonstrates how ergonomics and process optimization can go hand in hand.

Kromberg & Schubert uses the CC300 plus not only as a technological upgrade, but also as a strategic advantage. The haptic operating buttons make the difference: they allow machine operators to execute several commands simultaneously, which is particularly beneficial in set-up and sampling processes. 

The control panel of the ENGEL CC300 plus control unit sets new standards in user-friendliness by combining modern touchscreen technology with tactile buttons. The 21.5-inch responsive touchscreen is complemented by an innovative manual control panel with haptic buttons for intuitive control. Thanks to the integrated double swivel mechanism, the panel can be flexibly adjusted to different working positions, which significantly improves ergonomics and usability. This sophisticated design enables more precise operation and faster response to inputs, while making work on the injection molding tool much easier. 

The return to tactile controls is not just a topic in the automotive industry. Various manufacturers have reintroduced tactile switches in their vehicles in response to customer feedback and safety concerns. Household appliances and consumer electronics brands are also increasingly relying on physical buttons again to improve user-friendliness.
